He joined the travel industry after spending eight years as a management consultant, where he realized his favorite part of the job was learning about the airplanes he was flying on. He lives in Hoboken, NJ, with his wife and enjoys Rutgers sports, mixology, and street food.

Davide is the head of pricing for ITA Airways leading the company’s commercial offer exploiting the most innovative and recent industry developments. He has an extensive experience across different parts of revenue management, including yield management and managing relationship with Joint business. During his career Davide has worked in international environments in Barcelona, London and Rome, he is passionate about pricing and has therefore led several projects related to the future of pricing and the developments of new pricing tools and processes.

Davide holds a Master degree in International Management from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

In his personal life, he loves traveling to new countries, relaxing around nice beaches and, when home, cooking the most iconic Italian dishes.

In his current role, Tom leads the Strategy organization and is responsible for creating the long-term vision for ATPCO and exploring new business ventures. His focus is on industry standards and effective ecosystem governance, as well as driving forward concepts like dynamic pricing and tax automation. Tom has built a reputation for being a thought leader and implementer of industry solutions in the distribution space.

Semra Kandemir graduated from Middle East Technical University as an Electronics Engineer in 1992. Between 1992 and 2009, she held various positions at Turkish Airlines as Systems Engineer, Project Manager and Systems Support Manager. In 2009, she joined Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport team and contributed to the construction process completed in record time as the CIO of the operating company. She was involved in the installation of all operational IT systems and financial system integration. Until 2012, Ms. Kandemir continued to work at Sabiha Gökçen and has been working at Hitit Bilgisayar Hizmetleri since 2013.

Ian’s most recent roles include Global Sales Synergies Manager at IAG, Head of Distribution at British Airways and VP Distribution & Product Development, Qatar Airways. Ian lead British Airways’ change of distribution model in 2017 and the negotiation of new commercial and technology agreements with a range of third parties, including GDSs, Travel Agencies, and NDC Aggregators. To enable this, Ian established a new business and technology unit with team of two hundred business and IT people to provide direct connect API solutions for all 3rd party sellers. Ian then went on to lead Qatar Airways’ combined GDS and PSS negotiations in 2021 before moving to his current role at T2RL.

The creative side of software engineering, how technology can drive strategy, and a good sci-fi book are topics that enthrall him.

For the last 10 years, Tetsuya has been working for Revenue Management at ANA. He now leads its pricing team for international routes. After moving from one place to the other, Tetsuya has finally settled in Tokyo, with his wife and little one who just turned four.

Born in 1980 in Istanbul, Ahmet completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul and then received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Marmara University School of Business. He went on to complete his graduate studies with an MBA from Long Island University Brookville (New York), after studying at the European Business School (London) and Pole Universitaire Leonard de Vinci (Paris).

He began his career working part-time at the Turkish Airlines call center in 2000. After completing his graduate studies, he continued his career as a flight analyst in the Department of Revenue Management, after which he served in a number of roles working with general distribution systems, revenue management and pricing, marketing, and sales.

Ahmet is currently in charge of planning and implementing the flight network for the main Turkish Airlines brand and is responsible for planning scheduled flights as well as additional flights, for setting and optimizing ticket prices, for sales and sales channels, marketing, customer experience, Miles&Smiles, and corporate communications. He is also currently a member of the Sunexpress Board of Directors and the Audit Committee

Ahmet is fluent in English, speaks Arabic at a beginner level, and can read and write Ottoman Turkish. Ahmet is a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees at Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam. He is married and has three children.

With 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Melanie began her journey with Norse Atlantic Airways as Head of Distribution in June 2024, following four years as Manager Distribution Strategy at Virgin Atlantic working closely developing projects with ATPCO Routehappy and JV partners. The distribution strategy at Norse Atlantic is still under review as they transition from the startup phase. With flights starting 2.5 years ago from Oslo and 1 year ago from LGW, it’s an exciting time to be part of the team. Melanie and her team have numerous projects underway to integrate the Trade into our sales plan, making this a dynamic period of growth and development.

Before this role, Zachary filled several roles at ATPCO in account management, consulting services, analytics, and marketing. As an American based in Europe, Zachary is an avid traveler who enjoys discovering new destinations with his family. In addition to his native English, Zachary also speaks fluent German and conversational Russian, Spanish, and Hungarian.

Founding six startups—including Orbitz, which he led to a successful IPO, and G2Switchworks, a direct connect between major airlines and third-party distributors that was acquired by Travelport—Alex has a unique business acumen that has seen him build, transform, and lead multiple businesses.

More recently, Alex was the Executive Vice President, Global Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Technology at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he learned key lessons from the hospitality world that can be applied to the airline industry, such as addressing digital booking flows, digital display, unstructured datasets, and dynamic pricing.

Alex believes ATPCO brings a unique perspective as the honest broker, standard setter, and modern technology platform to the market, and he sees ATPCO playing a vital role in connecting the industry and building a community that enables all airlines and their partners to be successful.

When not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters, making music, building rockets that need FAA approval to launch, and learning new things.
